Most people find it hard to sleep during the night. There is a reason for your sleep loss. For adults it's more than likely because of work shifts that are late. As for teens it could possibly be because of depression, or usually because we all procrastinate on doing homework so instead we watch tv, therefore leaving you to do homework last minute around 11:30pm. This causes you to lose sleep, and not get the healthy amount for your age.
Our bodies are still in developmental stages and that requires a certain amount of sleep. Usually a little over 9 hours. It can be very dangerous to miss a lot of sleep, especially if you drive a vehicle. Lack of sleep can make you look bad, make you a little moody, and you tend to perform poorly. Also by staying up late, and sleeping late on the weekends can affect your biological clocks, and can actually hurt the quality of your sleep. So try, and get more sleep at night by going to bed a reasonable time, and get your homework done in your spare time so you have time to sleep.
