Do you think you know everything? Well, as a high schooler you might say yes, until it comes to testing.
Being in high school, I see that when a teacher hands out a review paper for a test it often ends up in the trash. But what students don't know, is it really helps. When student think they know everything they often fail a test.
Students who assume they don't need to study for tests/exams, and think they already know all the information, often fail. Why?
When students study and take notes it's like writing them down on a “Post-It” note in your brain. It might not hold the information forever, but most studying happens the night before the testing happens, making it a whole lot easier to remember.
The more students who study pass more of their classes. This is helpful for both parents and students. Parents almost always ask about homework, if a student is given a review sheet, or has a test the next day, the answer should always be yes.
