How was the dance? In my own experience, the dance was a total blast. The music was incredible and bumpin (Loud and fun). Everyone was dancing and singing along to the beats being played through the speakers, and were people dancing with the neon lights that glowed on the dark, crowded dance floor…. It was all so much fun.
Now let’s talk outfits, everyone dressed fancy and actually looked like Hollywood movie stars. There were plain, colored, unique dresses, sparkly, dazzled, fluffy dresses, and dark, textured dresses. The boys dressed as gentlemen, with nice ties, dark pants, glossed hair, white shirts and belts….no shorts I’m very surprised no one wore Nike shorts.
Food, oh yeah there was food. The food and drinks at this dance were served on silver platters...literally, there was spiced food, sweet food, and sweet, creamy punch served. There was also jello past around on silver platters! This gave the whole dance a real Hollywood theme.
The decorations...oh my where do I begin. There was a chandelier! An actual lighted, beautiful chandelier surrounded by hung balloons that soon, were dropped onto the crowd causing total awesomeness. There were big paintings saying Hollywood, a red carpet under twinkling lights and golden stars with flashy tables in the hallway. This looked and pulled the Hollywood party look all together. There was a professional photo booth in the gym! There was lighting, cameras and a gorgeous Hollywood backdrop scene with a red carpet and paparazzi!
If you missed out on this dance I’m solemnly sorry. We missed you! The freshmen had a total wake up call too as this ‘high school experience’ was so different from middle school. Let’s just say a big thanks to High school leadership for planning and setting up this dance, you guys did an amazing job and I really am impressed and proud. Good job you all did amazing!
