We’ve all been there. A break from school comes up (thanksgiving break, Holiday break, or Spring break,) We stay up until the break of dawn doing various activities, slack off on homework a little bit, finally fix our eating schedules. Unless you’re like me and eat everything and anything 24/7 until your parents yell at you for eating all the food in the house… oops! Unfortunately all great things come to an end and we have to come back to school.
Now, it doesn’t matter how hard we try, everyone is going to be a walking zombie the first week back. Of course the intensity of the zombie-itis will vary, but it affects everyone. That doesn’t mean there’s no hope in quickening the recovery process.
Here’s 3 Tips and tricks to help fight against Zombie-itis:
- Try to go to bed a little earlier.
- Decline your food intake a small bit. Because we all know we aren’t going to get food 24/7 and that equals hangry people.
- Just get back into your schedule. I know it sounds obvious but start doing your homework again, talk to your friends again, do the activities you love doing at school. It’ll all help.
